Eric walked down the streets slowly, nothing really planned for the day aside from a bit of grocery shopping and maybe some music in the parks. He loved listening to the music that came from the small quartets that played under the gazebos. He needed to know where to go though for some good meats, the last bit not tasting right to him.  He walked up to the nearest person he could find and put on his warmest smile. ”Excuse me, could you point me in the right direction to a good meat market?”

Hearing a voice behind her, Nala turned to face a man about her age or younger. Having just gotten off volunteer duty for the soldiers, she smiled genuinely at the man. She’d figured out her way around London pretty quickly, much to her surprise. “I think there’s a butcher down the street. I can show you the way if you’d like?” Her day was done, and Nala wasn’t nearly ready to go home quite yet. Plus the weather was far too nice to sit inside, a rare happening in London. Most days were rain and gloom, but the sun was out today and Nala was going to take advantage of it while it lasted. “I’m Nala. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
